A day ago I was in Washington DC (elevation: 410 feet). Today we drove from Littleton (elevation: 5,351 feet) up to Georgetown (elevation: 8512 feet) and I got a head ache and started to feel so tired. Altitude sickness perhaps? A good photograph would have been the one where I was resting my eyes on the couch in the book shop because I couldn’t bear to look at books when every step was a challenge.
I enjoyed the ride home and the great little mountains.
