The lines at the neighborhood grocery store move so slowly, have you noticed this? Sometimes – with a small shopping list – I can be in line for as long as I am shopping. That is seriously slow paced. I will time it next time I’m there, and we’ll see if it’s actually slow or if I am impatient.
So instead of waiting in line counting the minutes, I find a magazine to read in line. I can get through an issue in a good pace by skimming and then reading the most interesting articles. It’s such a treat to wait in line now that I don’t always look for the quickest checkout staffer.
